ESG Symposium: Sustainability in Art & Creative Industries in HKU

We are thrilled to announce that the ESG Symposium was successfully completed on Saturday, 17 August 2024, at the University of Hong Kong. This achievement was made possible by the unwavering blessing and collaboration of esteemed organizations, including the HKU & UAL HK Alumni Networks, Government EDB HKSES Scholars, Walk in Hong Kong, Good City Foundation, and Joint Publishing Cultural Fund.

The symposium focused on a practitioner's perspective to help attendees understand why and how SDGs and ESG principles are being incorporated into the arts, cultural, and creative industries. Participants gained valuable insights into the influence of these principles on growth, sustainability, and societal impact.

Our incredible honorary speakers brought the house down with their expertise and insights and with a very comprehensive case illustration, and we can't thank them enough for sharing their passion and knowledge with us. Their contributions have not only leveled up our understanding of ESG considerations in art and creative industries but also inspired us to be "GOOD PEOPLE" to strive for a more sustainable future.
