Paul Lee

Co-Program Director (Outreach & Engagement)

Paul began his journey with a strong academic foundation, earning his Bachelor's degree in Arts from the University of Hong Kong (HKU). Over the course of two decades, Paul has built an solid career. He initially entered the technology sector, collaborating with leading companies to develop cutting-edge language solutions.


Paul has served as a strategic advisor to top executives of notable firms, including Sotheby's (auction houses), Deacons (law firm), OYM Associates (design house), and prestigious think tanks such as the Civic Exchange. His leadership abilities have been sought after by these organizations to navigate the ever-evolving business landscape and drive growth. He also shares his knowledge as a part-time lecturer at HKU Space. Driven by his passion for arts and culture, Paul pursued a Master's degree in Arts and Cultural Enterprise at the Central Saint Martins, University of Arts London. This educational milestone allowed him to shift his career focus towards art-related ESG , aligning his professional endeavors with his personal interests.


Currently Paul is serving as the Co-Program Director in APAC Focus, sharing his insights and contributing extensively to thought leadership publications.

Established in 2012 by Prof. Luk Yan Lung Michael, the Institute for Greater China Studies (IGCS) has been quietly contributing to the field of scholarly research for approximately 12 years. The IGCS is dedicated to studying a wide range of political, social, economic, cultural, and public policy issues, with a special emphasis on the Greater China region, an important and continually evolving area of study in the contemporary world.
